Summer Undergraduate Internship
Dates: May through August (annually)
Capacity: 4-6 undergraduate students
Immerse yourself in a scientific internship like no other; participate in ongoing research projects varying in scope from instream and storm sewer water quality testing and public beach water testing to
dissolved oxygen profile surveys and demersal fish studies. Through on-the-job training, interns are
taught proper field and laboratory techniques using state-of-the-art equipment in a State of
Connecticut-certified laboratory. No prior experience is necessary, but interns must be willing to work
outdoors in a variety of conditions.
