Celebrate your child’s next birthday at Earthplace!
You can reserve outdoor picnic tables in our beautiful pine grove. We offer nature- and science-themed programs for children ages three and up. Choose from a variety of naturalist-led programs, and explore the nature center and the Earthplace trails. All event packages will include admission to Earthplace for guests. As a special gift, the birthday child will receive an Earthplace T-shirt.
We also offer traveling birthday parties, so we can bring the celebration to you!

Booking outside of these timeslots incurs a $150 fee.
Birthday Party Timeline
The rental space is reserved for a total of three hours. This includes:
- 30 minutes setup
- 2 hours party time
- 30 minutes cleanup
Party Programs
Naturalist-led programs are available in either 30 or 40-minute sessions. Birthday parties are limited to 16 children with one program add-on.

Pick Up To One Program Add-On Per Party:
Party Add-Ons (Ages 3+)
- Campfire = $150
Use for one hour during your party. (You provide the s’mores supplies, including roasting sticks.) - Pizza Party = $35 per pizza – 16 slices per pizza
Earthplace will coordinate the cheese pizza delivery for your party so that you can spend more time with your guests. Just let us know how many large pies your group will need.
20-Minute Program Add-Ons (Ages 5+)
- Critter Encounter = $75
Meet two of the animals from Animal Hall. - Scavenger Hunt = $75
Go on a scavenger hunt in Animal Hall and the Birds of Prey Exhibit. - Nature Walk = $75
Take a hike around the Swamp Loop, stopping to look for animals at the pond and stream. - Young Ecologist = $100
Participate in two science-themed activities.

- Our outdoor venue does not have heaters or a covered area. You may bring your own pop-up tent with weights.
- Our indoor and outdoor venues are not interchangeable; your reservation is only valid for the specific space you've reserved.
- Balloons and confetti are not allowed.
