Cheers to our trees on Arbor Day weekend!
Arbor Day is a holiday dedicated to celebrating trees, first observed in 1872. “Toast to the Trees” is a family-friendly community event hosted by Earthplace, where over 200 people come together to honor the trees in our 62-acre nature sanctuary. The proceeds from this event benefit nature education programs, scholarships, and community outreach.
Thank you to all who purchased tickets and were able to attend our 2026 event! The rain didn’t stop us and adults and kids alike enjoyed an indoor self-guided trail walk throughout the building including beer and sparkling beverage tastings along the way, with various arts and crafts and animal visits from our friends in Animal Hall. The Beer Garden was open in our Eco Lab with pre-toasted s’mores, and families and friends enjoyed an early dinner at our food trucks stationed outside and enjoyed full-size beers for purchase.
Toast to the Trees 2026 was powered by an amazing group of volunteers from Georgetown Alumni, National Charity League, and Staples High School Service League of Boys (SLOBS). Thank you for your support!

Please consider your ticket purchase a donation to Earthplace to help support its many initiatives. Refunds or rescheduling will only occur if Earthplace cancels the event.
