Junior Staff

Grades 7-12. The Junior Staff program has been a beloved Earthplace tradition—one that has inspired generations of young naturalists to explore, discover, and care for the natural world.

Building on this proud legacy, today’s Junior Staff dive hands-on into nature alongside our expert Naturalists. Participants learn to identify local plants and wildlife, investigate the ecosystems of our sanctuary, and take part in real environmental stewardship projects—from tending our pollinator gardens to improving trails and caring for our Animal Hall residents.

This immersive program blends science learning with meaningful work and community connection. Participants gain valuable skills in ecology, teamwork, and leadership—while contributing to the preservation of Earthplace’s 62-acre sanctuary. Some hours may also count toward volunteer service requirements.

Please register carefully; all registrations are final. Program can be prorated in advance for planned absences.
