With the support of Connecticut Humanities and the Department of Economic and Community Development, Office of the Arts, which also receives support from the federal ARPA.
  • WHAT DO I NEED TO DO:
Come and visit during our usual open hours! You don’t need to reserve tickets or call, however, you will have to provide your ID to our Visitor Services desk upon arrival ensuring you are a Connecticut resident.

As a non-profit organization, we couldn’t be more excited to have our doors open to families and caregivers across the state free of charge this summer. Our mission is to get more children outside, in touch with nature, up close with our rehabilitated animal ambassadors, and on a path to being engaged stakeholders for our environment. We believe this engagement allows for transformative ideas to be shared, and a more sustainable community to be formed for all of us.
