Ages 12-17 / 4-5pm
Animal Care Crew offers a fun and supportive environment inside Animal Hall. Work side-by-side with our technicians in hands-on training to gain animal care skills and explore the Earthplace grounds. Weekly activities include animal care, Animal Hall Garden maintenance, and some light work on the Earthplace private preserve—cultivating habitat for our wild animals!
Ages 12-17 / 4-5pm
The Junior Staff Program dives into the natural world alongside our Earthplace Naturalists. We will explore plants, insects, and other local wildlife, as well as invasive plant species. Participants will get their hands dirty as they put their new knowledge to use in our gardens and trails. Some hours can count towards volunteer service requirements.
Are you interested in science research? Do you think public access to healthy waterways is important? Then come work with Harbor Watch! We offer water quality internships and opportunities for high school and undergraduate students.
