Nature Immersion!
For the Hawks, camp is all about getting dirty! Through nature excursions, field games, art, hikes and more, Hawks get hands-on with nature.
Outline of a typical day:
- 9:00 Drop Off
- 9:45-2:30 Outside
- 10:00 Snack
- 12:15 Inside for water refills, picking up lunch, putting on water clothes
- 12:30 Lunch outside
- 2:30 Inside for water refills, cooling down, changing clothes
- 3:00 Dismissal
Daily activities:
- Climbing trees, field games, trail walk
- Pond play and walking in the stream
- Outdoor nature playscape areas
- Outdoor snack and lunch
- Outdoor free expression art time
- Indoor playtime with legos, Magnatiles, coloring sheets, games
- Yes, we are outdoors on rainy days
