Explore the fascinating world of insects with this three-week after-school club! Members will discover how to safely collect and observe insects, create their own bug collections, and explore the important roles bugs play in our ecosystems.

Calling all budding bird enthusiasts! Grab your binoculars and learn the ins and outs of birdwatching, from listening for bird songs to spotting our feathered friends in the forest.

Which animals have been leaving footprints on the trails? Who’s been nibbling the leaves of our plants? Become a nature detective and discover what the wild animals have been up to using trail cameras, tracks, and other signs left behind.

Children enjoy open-ended outdoor play and learn alongside our naturalists. For six weeks, our 62 acres of streams, meadows, and woods will be our classroom! Children should come prepared to spend the entire program outside, rain or shine.

This hands-on "parent & me" program invites you and your child (or children!) to experiment and explore with natural science and craft activities. Try the first class before committing to the rest of the session!
Ages 5-7 / 4-5pm
Our Lil’ Naturalists will enjoy open-ended outdoor play, exploring Earthplace’s 62-acre wildlife sanctuary with a professional naturalist. Together, they’ll explore multiple habitats and learn about the animals and plants that live there. Children should come prepared to spend the entire program outside, rain or shine.

Here at Earthplace, we believe amazing things happen at the intersection of art and science. That's why we are thrilled to have Nature Art Club for children in grades 3-6. This program will encourage artistic creativity in a variety of media to explore themes of climate justice, phenology, biology, and more.
Ages 4-13 / 6-9pm
Need a break? Take the night off while we take care of the kids! Drop them at Earthplace for an exciting evening focused on a unique nature theme. Cheese pizza and popcorn will be provided, and children may bring their own nut-free snacks. Must be toilet-trained.
Ages 3-12 / Various Dates
When schools are closed, Earthplace is open! Enjoy days off with fun and educational themed activities each day. Participants must bring a lunch and snack. Students can stay until 1pm or 3pm.
