Fur, Feathers, and Ferns

Enjoy a one mile hike with us as we discuss what the nature center does and how we help wildlife. We will enjoy watching wild and resident animals from a distance and learn about an extinct animal and why it became extinct.

Critter Care

Come explore the resident animals that live at Earthplace and what it takes to take care of them. Learn about the care that we give the animals and careers that work with animals. At the end make a poster to share some of the information that you learned about caring for animals.

Super Science

Today we will enjoy some hands-on science. We will make static electricity and see if we can separate salt from pepper using static electricity.  We will explore what sinks and floats and why. As well as doing a color changing experiment.
