Aragog came to Earthplace as a surrendered pet and has fully made this space her own, spending her days doing the things that come naturally to her—tucking into her hide, keeping a watchful eye on her surroundings, and digging impressive tunnels.

She prefers to be admired from a respectful distance, watching the world with her calm, steady gaze from the safety of her favorite spot—her beloved cave, where she spends a good part of her day as a true cozy-hider. When it’s time to eat, though, Aragog shows a whole different energy. She adores crickets, and watching her spring into action reminds everyone why spiders are such incredible hunters.

And if tarantulas could compete in the Olympics, Aragog would absolutely sign up for Team Excavation. She is a dedicated, enthusiastic digger, always rearranging her space, moving soil, and crafting the perfect burrow.
