Meet Duchess, our mesmerizing great horned owl who arrived as a juvenile in 2021 with a wing and eye injury. The people who found her held on to her for a month before bringing her to a licensed wildlife rehabilitator. Unfortunately, during that crucial month, her wing set improperly, leaving her permanently unable to fly.

Today, Duchess is a powerful ambassador for her species. She rules her perch with a commanding presence.
