Meet Matcha, Mocha’s fellow green frog and terrarium roommate. Like Mocha, Matcha was born here at Earthplace, but the two couldn’t have more different personalities. Where Mocha is shy and spring-loaded, Matcha is the chill, go-with-the-flow frog of the pair.

Matcha doesn’t mind being picked up when it’s time for feeding or habitat care—he takes it all in stride with his calm, steady demeanor. He also enjoys scouting out the best hangout spots in the terrarium, settling into perfect frog loaf positions while keeping an eye on their turtle neighbors, Woody and Liu.

And just like Mocha, Matcha has one great love in life: bugs. Feeding time is his moment to shine, and nothing gets his attention faster than the promise of a tasty insect.
