Summer Teen Volunteer Club

Grades 6+, Monday-Friday, 10am-12pm

Summer Teen Volunteer Club offers a fun and supportive environment for connecting with nature. Work side-by-side with our naturalists to learn animal care skills with hands-on training and explore the Earthplace grounds. Daily activities include animal care, program preparation, and maintaining the Earthplace private preserve.  

Mondays: Weeding, watering, and planting in the Animal Hall vegetable garden, watering the flowerpots, cuddling indoor animals
Tuesdays: Helping with Story Time and an animal meeting for the public, complete cleans of bird cages
Wednesdays: Removing invasive plants on the trails, cuddling indoor animals
Thursdays: Helping with Story Time and an animal meeting for the public, complete cleans of indoor animals
Fridays: Weeding, watering, and planting in the Animal Hall vegetable garden, watering the flowerpots, cuddling indoor animals. Pizza lunch in the picnic grove provided on Fridays!

Session One: July 27th – August 7th
Session Two: August 10th – August 21st
