Drop-in Programs

Story & Animal Program
Monday through Friday, 10:00 am
Join us every week for an animal-themed story and an encounter with one of our Animal Hall residents. 
For children age 5 and under.

 Free for members, price of admission for non-members.

Animal Feedings
Animal Hall | Monday through Fridays, 10:30 am


At scheduled feeding times Earthplace staff will answer all your questions while our animals get their daily meal.

Fall Saturdays at Earthplace
Every Saturday, 1:00-2:00pm

Join us on Saturday afternoons for a fun and educational nature class! Each Saturday of the month will feature a different topic lead by one of our trained naturalists. The topics will also be seasonal! This means that each season, the classes will change. Come to one or come to all! 

Saturdays at Earthplace are designed for children K-Grade 5. While younger and older children are welcome, the content may not be age appropriate. All children must have a parent or guardian present for the duration of the class. No pre-registration required. 

  Fall Classes
First Saturday of the Month

Paper Making: 

Learn about recycling and how paper is made by creating new paper out of old scraps. 

Second Saturday of the Month

Leaf Critters: 

Use the fall leaves to create different animals/leaf art.

Third Saturday of the Month

Nature Masks: 

Make a disguise out of natural materials found around the sanctuary.

Fourth Saturday of the Month

Critter Encounter: 

Meet some of the Earthplace Animal Hall ambassadors and learn about what makes them special.

Fifth Saturday (if applicable)

Trail Walk:

Explore the trails of Earthplace under the fall leaves.

Birds of Prey Feedings
Every Saturday | 3:00-3:30 pm 



Join an animal care technician as they feed our Birds of Prey. Learn about what they would eat in the wild, their behaviors, how we care for these birds, and fun facts. There is also a question and answer session. 


Winged Wonders
First Sunday of Each Month | 3:00-3:30 pm 


 Experience our birds of prey outside their enclosures! On the first Sunday of the month we host a bird-on-glove demonstration where you can learn all about some of our magnificent raptors. Naturalists will discuss the animals' traits, behaviors, and unique characteristics while the birds interact with their handlers.
