Weather events like drought are becoming more common with the changing climate; in fact Southwestern Connecticut is experiencing the fifth worst drought since 1895.  Join Earthplace’s Grounds Committee, Landscape Designer Jay Petrow, and Twig Holland from Aquarion Water Company to discuss landscape options you can integrate into your own yard that not only look beautiful but withstand the too-common drought conditions we’ve been experiencing here in Connecticut. You will also receive information on easy and cost effective other water conservation measures you can take in your own home or business to help conserve this vital resource.
