    Story with Animal

    Join us in Natureplace for an animal-themed story followed by an encounter with one of our Animal Hall residents.
    For children 5 and under.
    Free for members, price of admission for non-members.

  • Animal Hall Feeding

    March 15th, 10:30 AM

    Here's your chance to have Earthplace staff answer all your questions while giving some of our animals their daily meals. See what a blue jay eats and why a bearded dragon eats something different. Get to know a rabbit's favorite snacks and see the guinea pigs munch away at their hay. 
    All are welcome!

  • Citizen Science Brigade

    March 15th, 4:00 PM — 5:00 PM

    Develop your passion for nature and science! Guided by naturalist Veronica Swain, study different types of birds, frogs, plants-and even bats. Embark on a new mission each week, gatherine information from our sanctuary for use in scientific projects.

    Grades 5+

    Wednesdays, 4-5pm

    Environmental horticulturalist and blogger Kim Eierman lays out the groundwork for a beautiful, ecologically functioning, and easy to maintain garden for any backyard!

    Based in New York, Kim teaches at the New York Botanical Garden, Brooklyn Botanic Garden, The Native Plant Center in NY, Rutgers Home Gardeners School and several other institutions. Presented by the Earthplace Grounds Committee
